20 is just too good a hand to risk splitting regardless of the dealers upcard. Even if you were counting cards, you would need a pretty big edge to make splitting correct vs. a dealers 6 or 5.

Think about how often you will a) bust on one (making it a push) b) bust on both c) make a worse hand, that is beaten on one or both.

I'll do it, but could someone PLEASE explain about progressive betting?? That would help a lot. Flat betting just seems lame.

Somebody has to make us a bot or script for this. No way we shouldn't have one when this thing gets going tonight. We lose too much money if we don't have one.


Also, are we sure these EV calcs are correct, what is different about "Las Vegas Downtown Blackjack?"

The OP's question referred only to when the dealer is showing a 5 or 6, in which cases you will never bust.
