I'd call you crazy as well. McNabb is still a 40-50 pick guy. Who is his QB? Fitz is a top 20 pick easily. As others were saying, you can easily get decent QBs on the WW while after the first couple of weeks, getting a decent WR or RB is going to be hard to most active leagues WW. I'm betting these guys are currently available on most leagues WW and should be decent: Kitna A. Smith B. Johnson K. Collins While your lucky to get any WR or RB who is decent left e/c due to injuries. Your not going to get a top WR (Fitz is top 5) for McNabb. Your lucky to get a guy like Plaxico, Roy Williams or Walker. [/ QUOTE ] Of course I realize that Fitz is a top 5 WR. That's why I wanted the trade . But McNabb is a top 5 QB. Villain currently has McNair as his QB and is stacked at WR. In fact, he has Steve Smith on his bench. I think that the upgrade from McNair to McNabb is worth the loss of Fitz (especially when you have no QBs on your bench. Would you really trust your fantasy team to Kerry Collins on the WW?) |

[/ QUOTE ] Since you start 2 WR this doesn't matter as it's the drop-off from FItzgerald to his 3rd WR that will actually impact his starting lineup. And WR depth is important. |

Just b/c someone is top 5 at a position doesn't mean they have equal trade value. Would you trade LT for Carson P. Both are top 5 at their position but LT is of course much more valuable. Having both Fitz and Smith (obviously both were top 3 picks for this guy) give him a very good WR combo.
You can easily win leagues without top flight QBs as long as your WRs/RBs are very good and with those 2 he has very good atleast at WRs. I won the regular season last year going with Delhomme for most of the year, switching the Warner and then getting back ended the rest of the year and ended up getting 2nd after having both Harrison and Edge sitting during the last 2 weeks of the year. You don't need McNasty to win the title, you can win with a guy like McNair. I wouldn't give up Fitz for a QB unless his name was Peyton and wouldn't give up Fitz otherwise unless I was offer Chad Johnson or a top 10 RB. QBs 1-15 are all very solid. |

Personally I would go after decent WRs with upside in your case.
Examples would be: Bryant Plaxico (as you already have) Coles (with Pennington he should be good) Roy Williams (might be a little overvalued) Drew Bennett Chambers Walker I don't think you can get top 5 WRs without giving up some serious talent. As stated earlier, you have 4 very good QBs, of which you only really need 2. I'd keep Warner and either Eli or Culpepper (proballyt trade Culpepper) and go from there. |

I am pretty deep at RB, though RB2 spot is more of a running back by commitee each week based on matchup. My receivers and QB situation are also very solid, so should I consider making some kind of trade to upgrade D/TE/something else?
I have a trade for LJ/Culpepper for Barber/Hassleback, so my lineup may change slightly, but here it is for now QB: Warner QB: Hassleback RB: Barber RB: C. Taylor RB: A. Green RB: T. Jones RB: J. Jones RB: L. Maroney WR: Steve Smith WR: Holt WR: Deion Branch WR: Santana Moss TE: Kellen Winslow K: Kaeding DEF: Tampa Bay |

That was the offer. [ QUOTE ] I'd keep Warner and either Eli or Culpepper (proballyt trade Culpepper) and go from there. [/ QUOTE ] Latest offer is I'd give up Eli or McNabb (whichever I choose) for Donte Stallworth. |
