Lots of chopping towards the end-

4th took 7,000 and 3rd took 8,000.

Last two players split what was left for $11,500 each.

I was out 48th (3 rebuys). I was big stack at my table with about 60 people left but lost two races in five minutes and was crippled. I really hate the top heavy payouts they have, if I had made the money (20th), I would only broke even, essentially I needed 9th or better to make any decent profit.

Most people at the final tables needed 9th to make money. The one exception that i know of was Adell (spelling?), who was a badass and spent only the original 100 for the buyin (not even the add-on).

One re-buy, and one add-on and I was knocked out in about 65th place on Sunday. Never really had any good hands and never won a big pot.

Ran into aces twice in the last 5 hands I played.

Default Why I\'ll never play a rebuy tournament again at Casino Arizona:

The $330 buy-in was supposed to only have one rebuy allowed. It was changed the morning of the tournament to allow for unlimited rebuys. I think they decided to change the rule because they did not sell out the tournament and were worried about covering the guaranteed payouts.

A number of people noticed that one player seemed to be dumping an exorbitant amount of chips on one of his buddies. He'd push all in with J4, J7, etc. After 10+ rebuys, what does Dave, the tournament director do? Does he say something to the pair about collusion? NO. He rewards the chip dumper with a Casino Arizona Jacket for having the most rebuys. I'm not suggesting that the tournament director had anything to do with the pair of colluders - I just think it's ridiculous that he didn't notice and put a stop to what was going on.

I call BULLS#!T
