Rules for consideration:

1. How long does thrower have to throw the ball after he catches it?

2. Is he allowed fake throws? With fake throwing, the racquet guy may have close to 0 chance to win.

lets please not help either side out. let people figure it out on their own. I was just informed by my backer that I have a $25,000 match in October during the Festo El Lago at the Bellagio.

I can promise that I will never hold it for more than a second or two. And I dont plan on using many fakes. My thought was if i get crushed gloveless, i might see if you let me use the glove?

Dominic why dont we get together and play a little and you can get a feel for how it works. It is different and takes a little getting used to.

Hey Nick,

Just for my own curiousity and my own theory which nobody seems to agree with. Are you left handed? If you aren't do you feel a lefthanded catcher has a distinct advantage?

Dali,

"Make this bet with Nick, and I'd be interested."

I'd need to work out specifics, but I'm sure I can work out a deal where I take the stinkypete bet against Nick. (In place of returning serves, I start his service points with the ball at the baseline.)

Let me know how much you're interested in putting behind Nick on that bet.

Specifics notwithstanding, I'd go for 5k on nick SU. I'm sure more side action could be found. I'm not all that baller.
I will be in LV oct 6-8 likely for a craps tournament at TI.

I don't get how you're so confident. I'm like maybe 5 years younger than you and I know your name and I think your sister Alison stayed at my house for one of those USTA training centers. I've beaten kids at nationals for sets left handed...cuz of cramping and that already was a huge struggle. I don't understand how you can be so confident THROWING it. Is there some crazy loophole I'm missing? I'm currently on the Stanford team and I don't get how in any way you can beat me throwing the ball. I mean for sure you'd woop me playing straight up...my highest national ranking was like 4 in the 14s and around 12 in the 16s (i got injured in the 18s).
