I'm sure everyone in this thread thinks I'm an idiot too..but I've enjoyed things so far. Plus, I realize that if for some reason we did break up, I wouldn't regret doing what I've done during this time becuase I have enjoyed it. i did it and it was fine.
it was nice having a steady stream of good sex and having someone to talk to after getting a bad grade or having a bad day. you can still go to parties. i don't understand the need of some people to spread their seed like crazy.

[/ QUOTE ] I did it, it worked, we are now engaged. It definately has its difficult moments, but the positives far outweigh any negatives. If at any time you are thinking she is taking up too much time or taking away from your college experience, you should probably end it, or at least pause it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I think we are getting into lottery terms here of this working out for any reasonable time. only a matter of time before you or her meet someone else, get drunk, have the oh [censored] moment and then fizzle out...actually not fizzle out, usually end in a bang of heartbreak or some crap, for one of you.

Ive dated many many girls, and Ive only met a few, maybe 3 out of a ton that I truly cared for in a deep meaningful sort of way. And my time with them was far greater than my time banging any of the hottest girls Ive been with. So if you can do it and you have a great relationship, and you are clear enough in the head and see it for what it is, and you still think its great and not a in the moment thing...then hold on. Do what you can. But most of the time it is not that, and long distance and being in college, and if you are semi attractive...makes it hard. But if its for you, find a way, it will be tough, but nothing meaningful in life is ever easy. (contrary to popular belief, banging hot chicks is not meaningful, nor hard to do...doesnt count)
