I'm sorry if people misinterpreted this to mean that folding wasn't an option. I actually think it was the best play.

Unfortunately, I called the turn, with the plan of folding UI on a river brick if MP called, and possibly making the crying call HU. Well, the river brought a low brick, SB bet, MP folded, and I foolishly followed my plan of calling, only to have SB show J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] for the turned flush.

Meh.

SB bets, MP calls, chesspain...

Wow, looks like an easy fold here. If SB bet out and MP folds, I'm leaning towards a call on the turn and calling a non-spade river.
