I was playing the 5/10 limit game at foxwoods one night and it dropped down to 5 people. The other 4 players wanted to sit there and fold hands without looking and chop the blinds until more people joined. I definitely made the table break completely.

I'm going to vote for more hands that one has to pay blinds. 8 free hands and 2 blinds is less expensive than 6 free hands and 2 blinds.

This is exactly the opposite of how you should feel if you are a good player. I love it when my table is down to 5 or 6 players as I immediately open up my game while no one else seems to realize it. That's why I cringe when a seat opens up and right away 1 or 2 players yell for it to be filled. I do take notice of who those players are and file it for later.

I like an empty seat next to me (for the extra space), but i suppose it is nice to keep the wait times down.

Bigger pet peeve for me is when a guy calls for a new setup whenever he is running badly and the house rules require his indulgence. Recently at a casino in Detroit, one regular who constantly asks for a new setup did it again and a few players took a walk. When the new deck was ready, he and the rest wouldn't play short handed. Killed the game for 15 minutes.

I HATE THIS! Damn superstitious morons that blame the cards, the dealer, and everyone but themselves for their dwindling stack.

The only time a setup should be requested is if there is possible card marking going on. That is legitimate, but that is about 1% of the time.

I don't mind calling the empty seats, as I prefer a full ring game.

I've always like SH limit, but in NL I prefer a full table. More chance that somebody will call all in with their trash when I flop top two or a set.

I agree that calling for a set-up is much more annoying, it's almost never a good player, and usually someone who just happened over from the blackjack tables or the slot machines. It just slows up the game and wastes time.

It is even more annoying to have someone call for a setup in O/8. That game is already slow enough.

This is the winning answer. Although it shouldn't make a difference to them, they think it does.
