I right clck the shortcut. then properties and then what?

Then just as I mention in the other post, you will see a TextBox appear with a label called "Target". Just add your options onto the string which is already in this TextBox", eg:

"C:\FPHG\FreePHG.exe" would become:

"C:\FPHG\FreePHG.exe" "-d 250"

If you wanted a delay of 250ms rather than the default, or:

"C:\FPHG\FreePHG.exe" "-d 250 -e txt"

If you wanted a delay of 250ms and have FPHG output the hands using ".txt" as the extension.

PS: The examples above assume you installed FPHG to a folder on drive "C:" called "FPHG", you may have it installed in another folder, but the same idea applies.

I think you need to delete the 2nd set of quotes after the ...exe", around the parameters:

"C:\FPHG\FreePHG.exe" -d 250

Default I made (stole) an icon for FPHG

For some reason it has been annoying me that FPHG doesn't have a nice icon, like the other applications jukofyork has written, so I decided to make one.
I basically took the icon DollarToBB and made it blue.

Get it here:
http://www.notsoeasymoney.com/pokerhosting/FPHGicon.ico

You use it by right clicking the shortcut and chose properties. Then there should be a button called something like "change icon", click that and navigate to where you saved "my" icon.

Default 1 database or 2?

Is there an advantage to keeping the datatbases seperate in PT? 1 for your play and 1 for PHG hands? What is everyone else doing?
Thanks

I do, just so my playing database doesn't get cluttered and slow down from mined hands.

Default CPU drain

While running freePHG w/ 8 open tables it consumes 10-40% of my cpu. This is more than PT, PAHUD or MTH. Are there any options to reduce the load? I'm using the default settings and have installed the freePHG folder in my PP hand history folder. I'm using a 3 year old dell lattitude D600: 1.6 GHz, 512 MB RAM.

Thanks for any help.

Try using this command line:

FreePHG.exe -o -d 3000

Juk

PS: There is most likely gonna be a new version of FPHG done sometime over the next few weeks (which uses a new method and should have almost 0% CPU load). Please note though that I just don't have much time atm, so bumping wont make it get written any quicker... It will get done when I get some time to work on it. PPS: Sorry if that sounded a bit harsh (it wasn't directed at your post). It's just people keep bumping stuff over and over again, when I don't have time to work on my poker projects atm - I do have a huge ToDo list for each project and hopefully I will get some time to update FPHG and the others sometime soon. http://www.jukofyork.com/freephg.htm is it's normal home, but the DNS server for jukofyork.com seems to have gone down (my little brother is fixing it atm, so hopefully it will be back up soon...).
