I was at a bar getting drunk with an aquaintance. The extent of our friendship is getting blasted when we see each other at the bar and having a great time.

This guy is one of the best dart players in the Midwest. This guy can hit bullseyes at will. I am decent at darts but nothing special.

He challenges me for a game of darts at $50 a game. This is incredibly -EV for me but he has bought about five rounds of shots to my one so I decide to humor him for a game. If I lose I will plan on quitting. I can play politics but I'm no sucker.

We play and I beat him. Not wanting to quit winner we play again. I beat him again. I am shooting the best darts I have ever thrown and he is noticebly quite inebriated. Still I am beating him at highscore only by a small margin. We play one more game and I come from 100 pts behind in the last three rounds to beat him by 5 points.

At this he loudly slurrs "[censored] this! Good game man but I'm outa here. We're going to do this again." I smile, nod, and say, "ok."

He leaves pissed -150 and I leave with the biggest goddamn grin on my face, up 150 in a really -EV situation.

Ok, so it wasn't totally -EV because he was so drunk but I was so outclassed in skill level I should have never had a chance.

I live across the hall from a couple girls with an awesome apt that's been passed on down for years w/o rent increase. my roommate and I have a couple pets that annoy the [censored] out of the girls, especially since we don't keep much of an eye on them.

we agreed to put up our pets vs. their apt. we win: we switch places, they win: we get rid of our pets. we had our bored mutual friend make a trivia game to settle the bet. we won.

im pretty sure chillen isnt lying, he's a highstakes limit player, and is asian, so it's probably legit.
