Watching the WSOP ME play out like the end of a 10+1 MTT on Party at 4 am is sad.

Do you really think thats a good play? Risk more than 1 million chips, with 15k/30k blinds, just to see if the button is stealing AND the SB restealing?

OMG WTF!!! A raise, then a reraise, and the guy tries to steal with A3o

[/ QUOTE ]

OMG OMG OMG! I've never played poker before, so I don't understand that a BUTTON raise could be any 2, a SB resteal is often done with much less than premium cards, and I don't have the balls to ever try re-resteaing against two players who are unlikely to have monster hands. As well, OMG! I like to pass up very reasonable chances to increase my stack by 20%. OMG WTF!!!!!

[/ QUOTE ]

The button didn't raise after it wolded to him, so " it could have any 2".
He reraised an early position raiser.
Do you see why stealing here is wrong?

John Lee pushes all-in from early position. Andrew Schreibman makes the call from late position and shows AJ. Lee is in trouble with A8. The board comes 776K10 and Lee is eliminated in 44th place. After the hand, Schreibman is up to $2,500,000.

[/ QUOTE ]What was Lee's stack size? I don't see the benefit of open pushing in EP with only A8.

Chang Takes A Hit
Dan Schmiech raises to in early position $100,000 preflop and is called by WeiKai Chang from the big blind. The flop brings the K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] , whihc prompts Chang to bet $200,000. Schmiech calls, and the turn brings the J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] . Chang now checks, and Schmiech bets $500,000. Chang thinks for several moments before calling. Schmiech reveals the J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] for a full house, and Chang mucks. Schmeich now sits with almost $3,000,000, while Chang is left with $320,000.
