Bonding Has Opponent Drawing Dead
After a flop of QheartQspade7spade Lars Bonding bets $30,000. He is raised by a player in late position for $70,000, and Bonding immediately re-raises all-in for $42,700. He is called and shows AclubQclub. His opponent instantly mucks his hand and says he is drawing dead. The dealer did not deal a turn or river. Bonding is now at $290,000.

What could the other player have to CALL the all in and be drawing dead?

How could he possibly have a hand that he could call 42,000 more, but is drawing dead?... Ax?

lol, beat me to it...

They'll probably let the bloggers/other media back in after the bubble's hit. It also helps ESPN move around to catch the eliminations with less people hanging around.

Which means, if you come into the room wearing a Party Poker shirt they will stick a .NET sticker on you.

There's nothing magical about .net, is there? There's no reason (e.g.) Party couldn't make their .net site simply redirect to their .com site, or totally mirror it, and then put their "poker school" site at .org or .us or something, right?

I went out 907th. Lost A5 to 67 all in preflop. My key hand was 98s in the bb. Flop QJT, turn gives me a flush draw, the woman who had raised 1000x of course has AK this time.

Yeah, what hand could he possibly have? AJ is the only hand I can think of.

As far as I know, you're correct, they could do that...but it may raise the ire of Harrah's, who may in turn stop accomodating any Party Poker (or any site that attempted such a move) gear.

No Ace would be drawing dead. He has to have two unpaired undercards.

I was just about to post that.
He is drawing dead with 2 unpaired cards lower than Q that can't make a backdoor straight or flush.
But why would he call with those???
