So Rizen open limps on the button?

[ QUOTE ]
Eric Lynch calls on the button and goes into the flop with the small and big blinds. The flop comes Jdiamond9heart6spade and all three players check. The turn is the 9spade, the small blind checks and the player in the big blind fires out $4,000. Lynch folds and the small blind raises to $9,000 causing the big blind to fold.

Sklansky says it's OK to limp on the button in no-limit in the new book, right? Can't argue with that!

Default And I am out.... O cash

I played all of 4 hands this morning and got killed.

1st hand I played.. I pick up KK and reraise to 12k a guy who has been playing very loose his bet was 4k... Short stack behinds me calls all in and says this is his best chance he has, he only has 10.5k or so. The bigger stack behind me calls too. The flop comes Q high and the bigger stack checks. I bet out 20k and he folds saying he had AK. The guy all in shows AJ, I show my KK and have him drawing very slim... The next 2 running cards give him a wheel and he wins the main pot and I take 3k or so from the 2nd pot. Today is starting like day 2 - just bad luck

I call Joe Hatchem (4.2k bet) with AK in pos and the flop comes down 3 diamonds and Joe bets 9k. I have no diamonds and no pr. and I think for a while as I doubt Joe bets 9k here with the Flush. I figure he might be on a semi bluff and will call an all in by me, so I have to fold..

I pick up 99 and make a std raise and all fold to me.

4th and final hand... I am in mid position with a small raise in front of me to 4k (from mr loose).. There is now 8.4k in the pot.. I have 22k left and go all in w AK (M~5). A slightly larger stack behind me calls me, I know I am in trouble b/c he is VERY tight and his hand are shaking... Everyone else folds - he flips up AA... Flop brings a KJ giving me some hope... But no luck - I shake everyone's hand and head for the door.

gg me

WTF?

Fri Aug 04 15:08:00 PDT 2006
Layne Flack Doubles Again
On a board of K1037Q, Layne Flack's opponent moves all in on the river, having Flack covered. Flack calls instantaneously, and shows the KQ for top two. His opponent dejectedly rolls over the AA, and doubles Flack up to approximately $92,000.

Layne Flack Doubles Up
On a flop of K103 Layne Flack pushes all-in and is called by one opponent. Flack shows KQ for top pair and his opponent flips up AA for an over pair and the lead. The turn puts the 7 on the board, improving neither hand. The river brings the Q, giving Flack two pair to take the pot and double up. Flack now sits with $57,000.

What a coincidence!))
