what about that time u played cardshark hu?

[/ QUOTE ]

that was a pretty bad few days - i was running bad... dropped 6k at 3/6NL, then dropped HU 18k to CS, then dropped 6k more at 3/6NL before i started running better. that was my biggest downswing ever, but i wasn't running as bad as i am now. back then i was just running pretty bad, playing pretty bad, and tilting a lot. past month or so i've only tilted 1-2 buyins away, generally playing good but just running horrendously.

<---- lifetime loser at 5/10.

You guys should try 200NL.. 2 first August playing days :

Gotta love monster rake but its still more than 2ptbb/100 at 1knl
Btw Yvessaint I have a question for ya. How the hell are you 16/12 ? I am playing like ultra nit, mucking all suited connectors unless I am on the button I even muck low pp's UTG and fold to steal almost everything. I am still 19-13... Where do I find those additional folds ?

Well I'm sure if I played more than 100 hands at 5/10 and if I didn't lose 400bb pots to set over set I would probably be a winner there...

...but I'll consider moving to NL200. If you see someone new 20-tabling NL200 you'll know what happened.

C'mon I was only joking
But one serious point is that I wasted 4 months of playing at 5/10 and 10/20 NLHE and PLO going through some wild swings and finished totally mentally drained with about 20k profit for the year while I could have 8table 200NL all that time and make about 60-80k assuming WR about 5 which is not that hard

I need to sack up and start 6-8 tabling NL 200. I have this fear of having a 5 buyin downswing and I cannot mentally handle it.

That being said I read these forums a ton and really think I can beat the game.

I've never been one to 6+ table (usually 2-4 table) but i think I might venture into that.

Guys 5/10 isnt that hard to beat, you just need better table selection probably. Im sure you can beat it over the long run for way more money than 200nl, but if you wanna stay in the kiddie poolo thats fine too

4-tabling is soo boring (usually). To keep focus (especially when you're a little card-dead), you want to be at least 5-tabling. 6-tabling seems like a pretty optimal amount to me. However, I noticed that I've tightened up a lot when I 6-table. And since my opponents never adjust, it seems pretty profitable.
