BOOYAH. I did everything right since Sunday and I've caught back up! I even turned down not one but THREE really sexy sounding invitations to get drunk and flushed 3/4s of a massive delicious piece of apple pie that someone shoved in my face yesterday down the toilet to avoid eating it all or hurting the pie chef's feelings. I'm excited to register some good progress this weekend and start making some big losses! |

Standard week here for me. I lost 4 lbs, but for some reason, I have felt a bit more sluggish this week. For whatever reason, I think it might just be adjustments from my body. However, If it keeps up, its doctor time.
Down to 374, and my pants that I was wearing before are now 2 inches from falling to my ankles immediatley. I want nothing more than to take the picture holding pants that are too big for me out to the side, but that is one of those "big milestone" rewards that I am doing (lame, I know, but at least its something =D). I'll probably do that at 275ish. Right now, the remaining 174 isn't looking as daunting to me, as I have shaved off 41 lbs, and lost inches. However, I know that the weight loss will get tougher at a certain point. At this point... I'm riding it. Back with more next week! |

And don't put down whatever you do with regards to rewarding yourself. Low self-esteem goes hand-in-hand with being overweight, and you need to get over it along with the weight. Whatever you're going to do to reward yourself, it will be good because you will have earned it. -bb. |

I'm down to 215. I've lost 25 LBs since this thread has been posted, but it's been 37 LBs total(I started working out a month or so before bisonbison posted this)
I've definitely slipped the past 2 weeks or so, I've been stuck at 215 for a while. I've gotten back into it though, and I've been running a few times a week and I will be down to 200 by the end of August. |

Fatties,
My gf has just started using this site www.sparkpeople.com recently to regulate her diet. It's got a pretty cool system for monitoring your calorie intake and exercise plan, and there's a forum. I'm not overweight and I thought the whole thing was silly until she input what I ate the last two days and I found that I consumed 200 calories on Monday and 5,000 on Tuesday, and figured that it'd probably be a healthy idea to check the site out. From what I can see so far it's probably incredibly helpful for people trying to lose weight. You input your current weight and your desired weight by a certain date and it helps you build a meal plan and exercise plan to get there, and keeps track of how well you're keeping up with your goals. Worth giving it a try IMO. |

keep it up Ace, good progress man. I just recently starting hitting the gym again after a two month hiatus. Fortunately I haven't gained much weight, and I was able to lift about the same, but my muscles fatigued earlier. Everyone else, keep it up.

I might be too late for this, but I'll give $50 to the first person to get themselves into an infomercial.
Simply take a few good photos of yourself making you look as fat as you can, then after loosing some weight show relevant parties your before and after photos, do infomercial, then become an OOT superstar |

So as mentioned elsewhere, I've been an [censored] for about a month.
I ate like [censored], didn't work out, avoided the scale, had a car for a week + and didn't do my regular walking. I stepped on the scale this morning. 321- basically no change. Life is dumb sometimes. I've been back on the wagon this week eating wise, should be at the gym tonight. |
