The buy in is small ($5.50) i know but the BB has been playing reasonably so far and hasn't shown down any junk. Should I have folded my jacks here bearing in mind the small stack?

Call is fine, IMO. If you fold, you aren't much better off than the short stack anyway. Sometimes you finish 4th; that's poker.
Btw, the next time you post a hand, leave the results out. It will only skew people's opinion. |

Open push >>> Raise/Fold >>> Raise/Call
Would say his range is at least as tight as 66+, ATs+, AJo+ for repushing, which is a fold I would have thought. |

Do you really open push here with almost 15 BBs? I'm not sure but I'm also no expert.
I would call the reraise though because at this level I think his range is quite large & there's a good chance you're ahead. |

I'm not folding this hand. And I don't wanna get in situations like this, I just open-push it.

[censored] it, I'm going broke in this spot if I have to. Put them chips in there.

Should I have folded my jacks here bearing in mind the small stack? [/ QUOTE ] The only way you should have considered folding this hand is if you had a dead on read from past experience (which is virtually impossible) that villain is only shoving AK/QQ+ or just QQ+ in this spot. It's virtually impossible to get away from the 4th best starting hand in 4 way short-stacked tournament situations. |

Thanks for the comments everyone - i'm new to this forum.
In reply to DaN_05: I don't understand why pushing is better here than 3XBB raise. If anyone wakes up with AA, KK, QQ (poss even AK) behind, my allin gets caled anyway. Anything weaker than that and I want the action - basically, a push is not going to make any hand stronger than mine fold. |

I just go broke, too, especially at a $5.
