big,

"lmao!!! Before you try to make a point try knowing what yout talking about."

Uh, yeah, how about you READ THE TITLE OF THIS THREAD.

Best TOURNAMENT player of all time.

Just because Ivy won one tournamnet does not mean he is a great tournament player. One tournament cna be just a matter of luck.

I have already agreed that he is one of the all-time cash games greats.

Erik Seidel? With all the time he spends in BBV, i always pictured Nath to be more of a degenerate, a la TJ Cloutier.

I'm more a Stu Ungar type obv (with a different body type).

Stu Ungar was known for WINNING tournaments, not coming second.

I thought he was known for massive cocaine binges.

I don't mean to be rude but are you mentally retarded or do you just know nothing about poker. Ivey has won well more than one tourney. He consistently goes far AND wins tournaments. Is this some sort of twisted attempt at a joke?

No one is sick enough to make a joke about something like that.

Are you a gimmick account?

I remember when El D first directed me to this thread: I thought it had some potential to be a clever little critique of general perceptions of tournament players. Now it's just an ungodly trainwreck of total noobs not getting an obvious joke.

Honestly, the whole "guy with fewer than 50 posts doesn't get sarcasm" thing got old about 3 pages ago, and somehow it's still going strong.

big,

I think you might be confusing Ivy's tournament play in Monte Carlo with WSOP. He apparently played a Monte Carlo tournament, but I don't think Ivy has ever played in the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

How can your opinion with 6 posts have any merit when compared to "one of the greatest posters" in El D. El D never says things like "yout talking about". His posts are consistant and winning, not flash in the pan brillance.
I would wax on and on but you get the idea.
