Jean Robert Bellande Involved in an Unusual Preflop Pot
No Limit Hold'em Main Event Jul 30, 2006 / 18:07:56 EDT Four players limped for 100 before the player in the big blind accidentally min-raised to 200. (He forgot he was the big blind, and thought he was limping as well.) Several of the players call the min-raise until Jean Robert Bellande reraised to 900. The next player to act reraised to 6.4K, enough to put Bellande all in. Everyone else folded, including Bellande, who showed 99. The reraising player showed 76 as he collected the 2.4K pot. |

Negreanu looks to be chip leader with 23,000 chips. Not sure how he got there, though.

This sounds like a terrible fold by Bellande. How could he possibly think the guy on his left has 99 beat? That makes this even more confusing. [/ QUOTE ] if you knew how bad Bellande plays you wouldnt be confused. |

On the last hand, he showed down 109 on a K6338 board and took down the pot. He has increased his stack to $23,000. When you're winning with 10-high, how can you not be chip leader? |
