I live in florida where we are only allowed to play $2 stright as the max limit.
My local casino is now offering $2 with a $2 Ante, which is just like it sounds, you ante up $2 if you want to play you put in $2 more or raise. Is this a -EV game to play and i should jsut play the regular $2 stright? or can this be +EV? |

can this be +EV? [/ QUOTE ] Depends on the rake. Probably not. |

Would you mind posting the name of this casino (or PM me)? I've never heard of such game in a landbased FL casino, but would be interested in checking it out personally.

[/ QUOTE ] This would be one of the loosest aggresive games you will ever see...As Sklansky says all games start as a fight for the antes/blinds..In case the pot would all ready 11.5 BB(at a 10 player full ring) before any action...Making it correct to play about any two cards and virtualy never correct to fold because your odds to call will be so great.. |
