Is it a bad river call?

I'd raise PF and 3 bet the flop.

The way you played I think he's value betting a worse hand or desperation bluffing a busted draw or something often enough to make a crying river call.

Pf is okay, sometimes I raise sometimes I complete. Definitely 3 bet the flop, you have more than enough equity here. Given that, the river call isn't bad as long as you aren't overcalling. Getting those odds I don't think you can fold. If you pop it to 3 on the flop that makes the pot even better for your river call.

I agree. You should 3 bet that flop and I also think you should raise from the sb there. You have a strong enough hand to raise from the sb.

Call that river as long as its not an overcall as already mentioned. The pot is big enough where calling is mandatory.

PF: I complete with A9s and raise w/ ATs. A9 doesn't even stretch to a straight. What makes it so strong that it deserves to be raised from the SB?

FLOP: I might bet out but am more likely to check and see what happens. I might like to avoid BB or MP raising and knocking out players and or I might want to take advantage of a BB bet to trap everyone for an extra bet.

Put me in the flop 3 better club. Also, you're call down looks OK to me.
