Default f\'n unknowns

I had just sat down and UTG is unknown. I have a decent amount of stats for 10/20 players so he's no regular.

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG raises, 3 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (3.25 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero calls.

River: (5.25 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 7.25 BB

What kind of lines do you guys like against an unknown here? More aggression?

I like to CR the flop because since the board is so draw heavy you will usually get some action. I just call down if 3 bet. The only situation I hate is getting raised on the turn. Against an unknown though I'm probably calling down maybe incorectly though.

I like your line against an unknown. I don't know if at any point in the hand I want to put in more bets or take the lead with this hand. I've seen some piss poor river bets in this spot so I like the calldown. Also, bet/calling this river is pretty spewy. I think bet/fold is better but I don't like not seeing a SD here against unknowns so I check/call.

Looks fine. I usually take the lead pre-flop.

I would rather check/raise this on the flop and take it from there. Your hand is pretty strong h/u so I think it has value, and even though the pot is small the coordinated nature of the flop could allow a free card to beat you.

Just my opinion...

So if I take the lead, do I fold to a turn raise or call down?

I think on most turn cards you would fold to a raise, although if a blank [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] fell I think it would be slightly better to go to showdown in case the other player is semi-bluffing. This particular turn card is especially tricky because it completes a straight draw while putting another flush draw on board. I think in this spot I'd make an uncomfortable fold.

Just my opinion...

I think the postflop line you took is probably best against an unknown mid-limit 6-max player.
