-At least you won some money, coming in fifth.
-Yea but with the money at stake, that was......insignifcant.

When he glanced at his hand at the very end of the interview, had he crushed his sunglasses or am I just seeing things?

[/ QUOTE ]

Just watched it on DVR. Not sure why people are ragging on David Matthew. He was the least experienced player so his hyperaggressive approach clearly gave him the best chance. He certainly was reckless at times, but this made him a scary opponent to mess with.

I thought Bartholdi played really well. I also thought Wolfe played well. The whole table was aggressive, he sat back and waited for hands for the most part. Not a bad move with 66, just got unlucky Bartholdi picked up QQ.

What a blunder by Nielsen on his final hand. It would have been a tough fold, but with so much money on the line, at least think for a few seconds. If he called after 30 seconds, it would have been tough to give him too much criticism, but the instacall was terrible.

I thought this heads up match had the potential to be very entertaining. Once again, the huge blinds led to a premature end. Still a decent match, but it sucks the only chance to see a decent heads up match on TV is on those FOX Sports ones that show every hand.

Are you allowed to leave the table like that whenever you make an all in play?

Sure, when you're all in, there's nothing else you can do. Kevin McBride did the all-in and leave move back in the 98 WSOP ME against Scotty Nguyen heads up, heading to the bathroom.

i kind of hate it.

its [censored] poker. its played at a table. leaving before your opponent is finished making his decision is unfair.

i mean i get that its within the rules -- i just think its stupid.

its a classless move to leave the table

I got involved into a huge pot in a cash game recently, guy went all-in and left the table...

I folded and gave him some choice words

BEST WPT.. EVER!!!

I was rooting for Joe and the Canuck from the git go, and man, it was just great from beginning to end, and it was a just result.

Dave played great, and anyone talking about blind luck is just jealous. Saw Joe on a few Ultimate Poker Challenges, and got to like his style.

Terrific end to the season!

WOO!

did u hear men say f#@K when the guy showed pocket Q's

[/ QUOTE ]

I thought he said that, but after replaying it a couple of times I think he said "pocket queens," slurring the phrase a little bit into "pock queens."
