[ QUOTE ]
Search for KKF's posts and then look for devastating one-liners about Thailand he gets. Adapt them to your own circumstances. [/ QUOTE ] Winner. Those burns never get old imo. |

Make fun of their family. Easy, simple, and straight to the heart.

Start interrupting their stories with really idiotic questions.
"Wait, do they speak spanish in Spain? I thought they spoke esperanto." "Wait, were you wearing a pillbox hat when you were [doing X]? Because I heard that in that country everyone wears pillbox hats." Eventually they should get the picture. |

[ QUOTE ]
I studied abroad, it was fun, whatever, thankfully the rest of my life has been pretty interesting too so I don't feel the need to go on about it. Pwn them hard and publicly on some history / culture thing about their destination. [/ QUOTE ] It's like playing whiffleball against fat kids or playing any game of skill against someone who swears by "doubling on hard 12's." |

Every time they launch into the same 'ol same 'ol, ask really stupid "dumb tourist" type questions about where they studied.
If they studied in France, ask them if it's true they never bathe. Ask them if they got to participate in a surrender while they were there. If they studied in England, ask them if the first thing they did when they came back was see a dentist. Or if they were in any soccer (make sure to ALWAYS call it soccer!) riots. The stupider the better!! And keep asking them every time! |

Think of one-liners you would aim at nerds/dorks.
Most of these study abroad braggers are uninteresting people who now think they have something interesting to talk/brag about. |

[ QUOTE ]
i go to the university of california-santa cruz. our school is pretty much all hippy [censored] who go study abroad and then think they could qualify as a historian for said country. i find the best way is to ignore them and disregard that they exist. rj [/ QUOTE ] I lived for 2 years at the ILC at UCSC (graduated last year) and didn't know anyone like this. |
