I don't hate curtains play though, just wanted to add to the thread that calling on the turn isn't a lock.

The only thing I'd like to add is that this is really only a good play against a huge callbox. It comes out later in the thread that it looks like that's what this guy is, but when I first read the OP I thought check call on the river was good. Not a lot of hands a decent player will call you with on the river that you beat and it's not totally nuts for you to be beat.

[/ QUOTE ] I really didn't pay enough attention to the OP. You are correct. Not that my point is wrong, but pretty much irrelevant to this particular hand.
