check/call the turn and see what goes down on the river, I'm check/calling a lot more cards than I'm c/f or betting.

Little pot. We're OOP. Loose player. overcard. He might have filled up trips on turn. Our kicker blows. FD out there for villain, too.
Easy c/f turn, c/c river UI. I might even c/f river if a broadway or diarmond hits. |

Easy Check/fold, if he had any piece of the flop, he is ahead on the turn. Unless he is betting an A high, flush draw or low PP, you are beat.

Not necessarily. We now chop with most 7's. Given the propensity of people to peel extremely loosely on the flop, I fire again. This is why I keep up the stats on folds to flop, turn, and river bet. If he's a flop folder, then this is a c/f. If he's a notorious peeler, b/f.

If he is a PFFTer, I really like firing another bullet here b/c this board could be equally scary from his POV. More stats would certainly make this an easier decision. |

Most loose opponents who peel the flop light I fire again here with the board pairing (top card would have been nicer) but I think check folding heres pretty weak but I could like check call see what happens on the river its just not my normal line in these situations. If i bet/fold the turn I'm check calling almost all rivers ( induce that bluff) maybe not if he fires at a broadway or straight card diamond but probably stil unless I have a read hes not prone to bluff in these spots (which most are when u give them the green light with their hopeless holdings)
against a tag id like check fold the turn alot better since hes not prone to peeling the flop with nothing and I'm oop and the previous line id mention loses some merit check calling the river but Id probably still fire at this turn and maybe check fold the river? interesting hand I think. Very common marginal situation and tough spot to be sitting in OOP. |
