Default $320 hand vs. sheets

This is the second or 3rd time he called my CO raise from the SB. Havn't seen a hand yet but I'm sure he's playing a lot here. I bet almost instantly and he pushed almost instantly FWIW. Starting stack 2500 and I probobly have a semi loose table image but sheets knows who I am and probobly figures me a sng nit.

Some arguments for calling...
A draw is certainly a decent part of his range here. Could be AK/AQ but I think his pf range includes a ton of hands that it is only these hands a fairly small percentage of the time. Also, he is reraising them preflop sometimes(or even a lot of the time). How is he playing A8-AT here? Does he really want to push at me with 22/77/A7? Do you really believe the instant check/raise overbet-push to be a monster a large % of the time? Entering 50/100 with 1300 in a deeper stack turney isn't very fun. If he can get me to fold AJ type hands, he can almost push any 2 at me. You letting AQ go too?

We had both been pretty active the last 2 orbits

I seriously don't know. A set or a higher ace are certainly possible. However, he may figure that a hand like AJ will fold here if he pushes.

BTW I made the call with the best hand but felt it was a bad call.

Would want to know if sheets pushes flop often. Need to narrow down what kind of strategy he uses here. Only sets?
Sets and draws? Only draws???
C/R all in TPTK?

Without any info like that. You've got to call. He has a large range and that is why you are playing AJ. With AK def. got to call.

If you don't like these spots, tighten up pf and raise to 200 or 250.

If he has AK/AQ I think he will usually reraise preflop, so AJ is basically the same hand. I think you are usually looking at a set or a big draw like 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] . From what I've seen of sheets play, he will usually just fold aces weaker then A10 preflop here out of position.

I call. You guys are giveing sheets too much credit for a big hand its most likely a big to decent draw. If he thinks the player will consider folding AJ here he going to be pushing you around with a lot, and by even just posting this hand im guesssing he had a read that you would fold a lot of hands to his push here.
