[ QUOTE ]
OK - as a bicyclist I'll counter with idiot drivers that - make right turns without looking for bikes - have to enter traffic from a side street and block the bike lane while they're waiting - make left turns and only look for other cars coming against them - on roads with no bike lanes drive around bikes with 3-5 inches of space I ride about 16 miles each day and I'd guess that if I didn't keep an eye out for idiot drivers I'd get hit between 2-3 times each day. It gets a little frustrating... [/ QUOTE ] I'm guessing that you're one of the bikers that actually hugs the fog line. I have no issues with you and will swerve into the oncoming lane (with traffic coming at me) in order to miss you by several feet. It's the [censored] bikers that take up a third of the lane that will hear the swoosh of my side-view mirror in their ear. If you make an effort to hug the shoulder, I'll return the courtesy and miss you by a comfortable margin. Move more than two feet off of the fog line and I will send you a message. |

I'm a cyclist too, and lots of drivers piss you off when you're on a bike...
But, another thing I hate, even though I'm a cyclist, is cyclists who don't obey traffic laws. The worst move IMHO is the one where they come to a stoplight/intersection while riding on the street, but then when they reach the intersection they are now magically a pedestrian, and cross the street in the crosswalk with the "walk" signal. It makes it really hard for a driver (even one who is paying attention) making a turn to not hit the cyclist. |

Oh, and those who barely go over the speed limit in the left lane and make all the speedsters pass on their right. ScottieK |

[ QUOTE ]
When I ask people who call me if I can call them back shortly because I'm on the phone, or eating, and they still try to start a non-urgent conversation. A car behind me flashing for me to move out of the left lane when I'm already doing 70-75. [/ QUOTE ] I hate a-holes like you that think YOU can dictate the speed limit on the highway. I really, really hate you. Edit: I throw whatever I can get my hands on at you as I pass you in the middle lane. |

I'm partial to half-full coffee cups with the lid on.
They can pass through the 75 m.p.h. wind before exploding on their windshield. The best part is, they usually speed up after this... |
