minus the 30 minutes in paris [/ QUOTE ] Yes, I really liked the episode, except the Paris scenes were awful. Ok, she's in Paris, there's beautiful architecture there that staring at causes her to be introspective. BFD. I felt like I was being taken on a sightseeing trip of Paris from my living room, and the tour guide wasn't very good. |

Interesting that AJ isn't just getting a job, he's getting a mob job, this is clearly step one down his path to growing into the life. [/ QUOTE ] well, yes and no I think. The entire series has kinda gone out of its way to show that AJ doesn't have what it takes to be part of it. From the crying when the bear was in teh back yard to his own hating his friends constantly bringing up what his dad is to Tony's own major desire to not have AJ go down his path. But, tony's saying that he doesn't know what to do with AJ may mean that the inevitable happens |

Is this the first time they've played WFAN's Mike & the Mad Dog in the background?
If so, look for their heads to explode with ego at around 1:07 pm Eastern. Webcasted at WFAN.com for those out of the tri-state area. |

minus the 30 minutes in paris Holy [censored] it was so unnecessary. The only point of the entire part was 1: to get carmella away from home so tony could start beatin AJs ass 2: to show that carmella truly isnt happy with her life and she realizes there is so much beyond waht she knows Could have been summed up in a minute and other more important storylines could have been developed [/ QUOTE ] You suck at watching TV, and probably shouldn't be allowed to watch The Sopranos. Maybe you should try American Idol. |

I think what's interesting is that Anthony's scam was no different from all the stuff Tony does - and his justification just as flimsy. Still, it also seems like Anthony is a total fuckup and couldn't handle being part of the family business.

This is a very frustrating Sopranos thread. Some of you should be banned from watching HBO.
The guy Sil and Carlo killed is clearly, CLEARLY, the big guy from the motel who helped kill Vito. Clearly. The Paris scenes had absolutely nothing to do with sightseeing, beautiful scenery, etc. The football helmet (not a [censored] bike helmet) could break the windshield in the manner it did. |

The carmela scenes were the first time this season where I was cursing the television, she's becoming the Lisa Simpson of the Sopranos.
On a side note, kudos to On Demand who had the episode up last night when I got home from the national show. |

Tony realized that AJ is a worthless POS aso he is going to let him sink or swim in the business. He is going to let his other family do what his first family couldn't.

[ QUOTE ] What I didnt really understand; didnt tony set vito up, and let Phill kill him? Why was he so pissed? Was it just becasue of the pool cue? [/ QUOTE ] Tony was about to take care of it himself. Phil beat him to it after Tony told Phil to but out and that it was none of his business. So basically, Tony told Phil to lay off, but Phil did it anyways. [/ QUOTE ] Not just that, Phil cost Tony $200K and the names of Vito's contacts in Atlantic City. |
