Vegas Noob looking for some more info

So here's the plan, we get into vegas around 11pm on thurs jun 29 and leave july 3rd at 6pm. I am looking for some ideas from you experts. What are some places that you would say are must do's? Any good bars, parties that you would recommend? It seems like it is a good time anywhere but for a weekend trip what would u recommend.

Also add some good stories to further hype me up for this trip.

I want to get some poker time in at mgm, bellagio, wynn. Any other good places for a medium stakes limit and 2/5 nl player?

Wynn and MGM have been concensus recommendations around here for the last year. The Venetian and Caesars are more recent openings that are probably worth a look.

As for the bars, you should describe a little more of what you are looking for. There is so much going on, so if you can describe what kind of place you are looking for you'll get much better advice.

You started three threads on this subject in this forum in the last four days. Are you participating in an unusual contest of some sort?

During the day I heard there are some bars on the strip that offer beers for $1 for a 40 oz draft. Also heard something about a massive margarita for $5. Wanted to know of any good bars in the day. Basically during the day it doesn't have to be some wild place, just basically a spot to grab a few beers with the boys.

At night, I am sure there are a ton of places to go. Are there any weekend nights that have a party that you must check out?

Basically I don't want to miss something on the trip that I should see because I likely will not be able to get out there for a year or so.
