What is the EV/table for this bonus? Like $.25??

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm guessing there's about 250-300 active tables during bonus time. With 6 people at the table, 5 get 2k, 1 gets 5k. 15k/6 people is 2.5k per person.

You have a 1/250 to 1/300 chance of getting it, which is $8-10 per table, I would assume by posting and folding, increase your chances at least 2x, so the EV should be much higher, eh?

Is there something wrong with my calculations?

There's also the bonus for vip status. Up to 120% for supernova.

I just play fast rather than manipulate the game. I have a vague recollection that Paradise had a clause prohibiting schemes like this - Are you sure its allowed?

There's currently over 9,000 active tables. Assuming half are play money and tourneys, that still leaves 4k+

[/ QUOTE ]

Very raw assumption. STT/MTT/Play money cash/Play money tournaments account for at least 75%. There are only about 200-250 holdem tables open right now.

I'm also going to venture to say that there's an absolute maximum of 1.5k max tables, with our EV still around $2 per table if we were playing as slow as everyone else, but at least $6 per table since we're folding ridiculously fast.

8 tables of this for 20 minutes is roughly 150 hourly, and fine with me.

All approximations of course.

OK an early final prediction (forced by circumstance)

11:00 PM ET

We should start arranging tables aboyt 45 minutes prior.

Ideally, set up AIM chat rooms (or the like) and form groups of 6, 9, or 10.

I asked PokerStars support if it was OK to openly agree to fold to the blinds as a milestone hand approached. They told me that they did not have a problem with it.

The gist of it was that (a) they felt that it was vulnerable to 1 guy wrecking it - stealing blinds - and (b) wouldn't increase the odds very much.

The first day this promo came out I asked support if this was ok and they didn't have any problem with it. Thats why I was so eager to set it up last night
