Default Monitor help

I have 285,000 party points, and I want to use them to buy a sweet monitor set-up for 8, 9, or 10-tabling sit n gooooos. I know very little about technology.

Options are:

--- 1 Dell 24-inch wide-screen LCD - 1920 x 1200 resolution. 250,000 party points. Can this be used as a TV as well?

--- 1 Sony 26-inch wide-screen LCD TV - 280,000 party points. Can this be used as a computer monitor?

--- 2 Dell 20.1-inch LCD monitors. This would be perfect, but they're [censored] wide-screen, not regular 1600x1200 squares. You think if I called party, I could get the non-widescreen model I wanted?

They also have a Sony 20-inch non-widescreen model, but it costs 175,000 points, so I'd only be able to buy one of them.

Thanks all.

get the two 2001fps. they don't really take up that much more space on your desk than the 24".

That's the thing. They offer the 2005s, which are wide-screen models. Two 2001s > Two wide-screens, I know. But I don't think I have the option of the 2001s.

Get the sony monitor, combine it with your current monitor, multi table until you get the 60,000 points needed to get another Sony and then get that one. Should be like a couple of months tops 8 tabling.

dont get the widescreens. Call party and ask about 2007fps. They may be putting 2007 fps on there soon. Dell just recently discontinued the 2001fps for the 2007fps.

Does anyone have an opinion about how 9-tabling would look on the 24-inch widescreen? And if it can be used as a TV?

Its because the resolution isnt very good. Its not about the size of the screen but the resolution of the screen. You need 1600X1200 to fit 4 tables almost perfectly so to add 2 or 5 tables you can imagine what resolution you need.
