Eh, probably cant do that one either. Ive never played a tournament over $150 and wanted to take a shot. Still have some work to finish up. Is that $109 NL tonight I see on their website a regular tourney or a shootout?

[/ QUOTE ]

At 7:15 I see a $109R, that's all

Because you're very likely ahead and if you bet and he calls you make more money...

Ok. I understand what you guys are saying. When it gets to the 25/50 level, there's no way I am checking that flop. However its 10/20 level, and if I bet the flop, I am basically commited to the pot.

stop here and reread this again please, then answer why this is a bad thing vs. a random donk on a 953 or whatever board

Eh, I hope ansky has a field day with the "staying alive" comment. Just bet the flop.

taking +EV opportunities is what makes players winners, even if it sometimes busts them early.

3990 at the break

I got lucky and cleared out a big fish with k2 vs 33 on a 224xx board (flop was essential to him calling 3 streets lol) and ats vs his jqs pre.

fun

Out already. Flopped trips, but couldn't convince calling station donk to fold his OESD and of course he rivered it.

GL, everyone.

Wow. It's certainly a donk fest de luxe when 1,500 people (as many as there's people in my hometown) leave the tourney within the first sixty minutes!

Its not a random donk, in fact I think he even made an appearance in the WPT final table. He went all in couple times, after my fold, and he was not out of line at all.
