I met you at the Mirage once. Inthacup introduced us as I was playing 3-6 drunken HE. We spoke for perhaps 30 seconds. I turned around, and you were gone. I think you may be Batman.

Great post. Thanks for sharing. Only one flaw...you should be buying your books from ConJelCo!

[ QUOTE ]
I arrived in Las Vegas with two suitcases of clothing, a garment bag with four business suits which I've worn only once at most [/ QUOTE ] Pokerbabe wants you to wear one at the table so that she can add the "LG" to "PG". On a serious note, I wanted to let you know that I have learned a great deal from reading your posts. Specifically, much of your thought process in going through these hands has helped me to overcome some of my weak/tight tendencies. I still have a long way to go, but I've made a lot of progress in that area, due in large part to some of your posts. Congratulations on your success, and I'm sure that the future will be even better. |

"Pokerbabe wants you to wear one at the table so that she can add the "LG" to "PG"." I had NO idea that Dynasty owned a suit, let alone 4. The only thing that would surprise me more is if Clarky wore old sweats to the poker room. Suitless or not, Dynasty is one of Babe's Best. To know him is to love him. Keep up the good work, D and PG......, Babe [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] |

A very interesting story. 19 hours. I know I'm a bit nuts and a lot arrogant, but good god man. Living on 1-5 stud, wow. Great story and glad to hear you made it.
Btw, what happened to Derek? |

Dynasty:
I will reiterate what others have already said - really appreciate your candor and hearing your success story. I am struck that the key ingredient to your success is discipline - you didn't overestimate yourself and went up gradually in limits and have resisted the temptation to jump to bigger limits. To me, this same sense of discipline comes through in your responses to various posts. It is my belief that this discipline is the key for most who aspire to playing poker for a living. |
