Yeah, I was wondering if this was going to get pointed out.

Any nation where there has been an ongoing war of several years duration. To me, the most important factor is whether there has been recruitment of children into the military and these kids have been put into combat. They might not be able to compete against the militaries of developed nations but for enduring hardship and viciousness they can't be beat. In addition to Chechnya I'm thinking Afghanistan and several African countries, Sierra Leone, Uganda, etc.
