According to Vanessa, WE are all wrong about her... Me, Liz Lieu, James Van Alstyne, The Circuit. It's funny to see how a law student would cover something like this up. Well done! I never insulted you looks or your intelligence, I merely exposed your bad poker play. Which it seems you still can't own up to. This will be my last post about this nonsense. Good Luck everyone!

Gee, what a non-bitchy response. "I can't respond to what you said, other than I hate you and I'm going to run away now!!!"

how do you know what the established pros feel about upcoming players? I think they don't give a rat's damn. U think Phil Ivey is getting jealous over amateurs?

[/ QUOTE ]

No, Phil Ivey has class. Besides, who mentioned jealousy?

[ QUOTE ]
You haven't even listened to The Circuit and you're making statements on James Van Alstyne's etiquette. Listen to the Circuit first then judge.

[/ QUOTE ]

I wrote 'if.' Do you understand what that word means? I have since listened to The Circuit and stand by my opinion.

Petty jealousy of a pro? On this site? Never heard of such a thing. You must be thinking of a different 2+2.

"I'm sorry then, what a cold deck, I got really lucky."
“Liz, wow, I got really lucky then with that river, sorry.”

If she were recalling someone else's statement, then I would be more inclined to agree with you. However, she was recalling something she said and changing details like this is indicative of dishonesty.

[/ QUOTE ]

Is 'bitter' the right word in this circumstance?

Some of you people think that anyone who makes it to a final table has to IMMEDIATELY be media savvy, politically savvy, articulate and personable in addition to being a good poker player. In this particular instance this woman is being labled as dishonest for not stating EXACTLY what she said on two occasions a week apart. Un-f'ing real!

Honestly who cares if she slow rolled. If it's going to put someone on tilt fine. Why is there so much drama over her etiquette? I don't get it.

if you didn't read through the threads it's mainly because another pro called her out on it. that's how most of the stir has been caused...usually if slow rolling or bad table etiquette has been discussed..it's usually "yeah what low class...what a douche....etc.." In this case another known player repeatedly stated occurrences of bad table etiquette with acts described in a negative light. Of course it reflects poorly on Vanessa's reputation...and whatever business projects she may hope to plan on in the future.

Someone labeled jealousy as a motive. Go back and read the thread before making 3 posts in succession. This thread is becoming more and more worthless as it extenuates.

Conerning your Circuit statement, before you make an argument based on conjecture, how about exploring the argument first. Instead your argument has become flimsy and basically invalid.
