I'd chop her head off and feed it to homeless people for thanksgiving. But that's just me.

Just so you know, she had a pretty good comeback there. You're definitely not as good at fighting as she is. Next time work out some insults in advance.
Maybe something along the lines of "Well, the jerk store called..." |

With such an intellectual and complicated fight as this one, my only possible response would be to tell her that I faked all my orgasms.

OK. So my girlfriend and I had one of those nonsense fights. She says (in response to something I said) "thats because you clearly have no idea what you're talking about" I say "That may be so, but you CLEARLY started this fight" she says "Well you should CLEARLY shut the [censored] up" I figure a line has been crossed and I need to do something here. What do I do next OOT? (btw this has already happened, I will post my line of action after responses) [/ QUOTE ] You both STFU and hurry back to your high school geometry class. Pass notes about it in the hall between 5th and 6th period, then make out on the stairs by the gym after school until the bus comes to take you home. Jesus!!! |

This isn't a fight, she's just pissed, got a little angry and said FSCK. You should hear my wife's mouth, like an atheist pirate.

I said "Yeah, maybe I should" and signed off. I came back online half an hour later. She msg'd me about some random thing (she was making a CD?) and didn't mention the 'incident' at all. I bitched her for a few minutes, telling her she's never allowed to talk to me like that, etc.. She didn't apologize so I said
"why haven't you even apologized" she said "I don't know I'm fuxed up" and apologized (that sucks that I had to tell her to apologize). A few things stand out to me from that incident; I think it is very important I draw a line here and never let her speak to me in this manner. I'm not sure exactly what I would do if she did this again but it's probably along the lines of not talk to her for a couple days? / a week? Or cancel plans we have together, letting her know that is why "I don't feel like seeing you". I do care for her a good deal and want our relationship to continue. Most of the time we have alot of fun together and I want to keep our relationship where it is and not let it degenerate into fighting alot, so I need to give her the subconcious message that I won't tolerate this sort of behaviour. I don't want to over-react here and I think it is definitely best to never think of this again, which I can't imagine will be trouble as it is such a small incident. I was most intrigued by "Throw her out and don't talk to her for a couple days. She'll then try to make up. Once your made up, she'll pick another fight. This is a test. Don't get angry, just throw her out again. Rinse and repeat untill she is properly trained. The key is to never show an change in emotion. Just calmly ask her to leave. If she doesn't grab her by the arm and put her outside. But do it calmly. " This looks like a good line (when we are in person) and mirros something things black guy told me in jail once. |

[/ QUOTE ] note, swearing, even hardcore swearing, doesn't bother me in the least. Even being told to 'fvck off' or even stfu in a joking manner is fine. Being told to stfu in a serious way is across the line. |
