Default Incident at the WPT championship

From the Cardplayer log:

Date / Time: 2006-04-19 08:05PM
Title: A Slight Incident
Log: Security had to be called over as Freddy Deeb and Haralabos Voulgaris had to be separated. Voulgaris had been eliminated and the two got into a confrontation after the hand. Voulgaris eventually left the poker room and everyone called down.

Anyone know the details of this? I remember Haralabos being an ass in that WPT episode that the grinder won. What was this about, and how intense did this get? They make it sound like they were actually fighting, though that seems hard to believe.

A little OT, but Freddy Deeb would beat the hell out of Haralabos if they came to blows.

I guess there's gonna be some real drastic changes in their next chip count update.

Another thing of interest from Cardplayer: Ted Forrest didn't show up. He has been blinded down to 38K.

Now that's gangsta. Poker needs for a higher percentage of this trash-talking crap to result in fisticuffs. If you're gonna yap, back it up. Talking + no brawls = lame.

Seriously, the thing I thought especially weird about this is it involved Voulgaris. I really can't imagine him getting into a fight at all. I mean, he's like a really scrawny white guy! And though Freddy isn't the biggest guy in the world, he looks like he could beat the [censored] out of someone if he wanted.

From the WPT...

[ QUOTE ]
"Haralabos Voulgaris is a 29-year-old professional sports bettor from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. This poker tyro brings a lot more to his first WPT final table than meets the eye. He is a playwright, holds a degree in philosophy, and his goals reach far beyond the green felt. His plans for the next 5 years include learning to play the piano, to have one of his plays performed on Broadway, and to win a WPT title."

[/ QUOTE ]

Doesn't sound like someone who'd give FD much of a go - barring any unmentioned black belts he may have earned.

While Deeb has always shown alot of spunk, the guy is 5'2 at best, in all seriousness. I met him in Tunica as a WSOP circuit event.
