If you're going to continue to follow this thread, I ask that you (if for no other reason than to humor me) suspend your disbelief, if you still have any.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's all any author of fiction asks.

But it should be clear by now to all that either you made all this up, or you are a member of the ZJ/JJProd tribe.

Teddy,

Why not ask PokerStars for their complete HH records for your mum? She surely has a right to them, given the circumstances. We should be able to get to the bottom of this if we had them. I could possibly write a parser to extract start/exit time for each table and see if we can find the 43 hours.

[/ QUOTE ]

I did exactly that -- maybe my email directly to Lee Jones about this got lost somewhere in this huge thread, but that's precisely what I wrote: just find the 43 hours of HHs, and verify them in detail because if there IS a mistake (which I would stake my entire livelihood on), it lies therein. That IS the smoking gun. I spoke with my mom about this for an hour over the phone last night and went over all of the theories that people here have proposed about what might have happened from Trojans to 3rd party interlopers of which there are NONE -- it was humorous how some people seized upon my brother as a potential culprit...I just mentioned him in passing but he doesn't live with my parents and has nothing to do with this) and the ONE thing that we kept agreeing was "but that still doesn't explain the alleged 43 straight hours of play!!" which NEVER, and I mean, N-E-V-E-R happened.

[/ QUOTE ]

Teddy,

I've been following this thread and I have one question about the 43 hours straight. Is your mother one of those people, like most of the rest of us, that leaves her computer on constantly and has a high speed connection which is constantly connected to the internet(non dialup connection) or does she turn it off when she isn't using it? I know she probably leaves it on or you would have explored that angle already.

Your mom says no money was missing or added to her account therefore either no one else used her account or they broke even for that 43 hour stint. Unlikely.

Are the hand histories not still on her computer? Just check the hand history files. No way your mom played 43 hours straight and if all her other history files are there but there is no 43 hour stint what can Jeff possibly say to that?

I would love to see him produce the alleged session.

Exactly. It would be a smoking gun, no doubt about it. Yes, they have a cable internet connection and she leaves her computer on all the time...but I'm sure Stars is smart enough to tell the difference between the client left open for 43 hours and 43 actual straight hours of playing history.

Thought that would be the case. The only reason I was asking was that would either prove she didn't play 43 hours straight or whether or not someone controlling a trojan was using her computer to run a bot program.

Number 2: You guys who are questioning Teddy's integrity are [censored] morons. If you have read any of his posts in the past or have even read this whole thread, its ridiculously obvious that he is truthfully telling us everything he knows about the situation.

[/ QUOTE ]
Excactly. The conspiracy theories that a successfull winning mid/high limit hold em player would 1) make a bot to test at the nanos and 2) use his mom's computer to do so, is assinine. Not only is his character above that, IMO, but from a rational, money making standpoint it makes no sense.

Teddy is very respected on 2p2 to burn all his goodwill on something like this that is not true would be stupid. Of course something weird is going on -- of course soemthing is missing! That is what he is trying to figure out here!

Seems to me that there's a war going on between the non-bot-users and the bot-users, and this thread is the battlefield.

[/ QUOTE ]
Wow. This is probably the dumbest thing I will read all day. Nice one.

I think Teddy is beyond reproach here. I mean, seriously, what would he have to gain from making this up? Nothing comes to mind. What would he have to lose? A hell of a lot of respect that he has built up amongst the better-informed posters at 2+2. The fact no-one at pokerstars is giving HH or any info about this alleged 43-hour marathon session, I'm on Teddy's side.

Am I really dumb or do Stars not store the hand histories locally now?

I don't play cash games on there so am not sure.

You are discounting 2 things. First the high probability this is all an elaborate joke. And the second that ZJ was highly regarded here as well before his ignominious fall from grace.
