What should have been said:

"Don, what a bad beat, how are you feeling now?"

"Well, Courtney, I do have 40 bucks in my pocket and there are rooms upstairs. I know some mafia guys who can advance your career. Put down the microphone and get used to my being your daddy."

I don't watch the last half of WPT events any more because it's not really poker.

[/ QUOTE ]

this episode is kind of boring but they are showing some good hands.

i guess they didn't play as many hands as they usually do so they are showing something besides the all in hands.

VVP really did say, "And we both know that Gavin Smith threw away one of the 8s" After the QQQ flop.

Two years ago I'd be outraged.

A year ago I'd laugh.

Now I just did a double take and say, oh yea, him.

[/ QUOTE ]

If he hadn't thrown an 8 away then Dan could have won the pot with running 88. A 1000-1 shot, but still relevant.

Did this final table take like 16 hours or something because the blinds got absurdly high with 4 players still left? There were only around 40BB total in play.

The only reason I'm watching this myself is because Dan Harrington is on. That's it.

OK. I have to ask.... is Minh pointing at the Doyle's Room logo when he celebrates? I think he might be taking the idea of advertising a bit too far.

Why are they hating on Minh's all in with T9? How big were the blinds at that point?

It would be nice if VVP called Minh by his correct name. LoL I think he has been watching Buck Rogers or something Ming the Merciless.

Courtney Freil:

So it is disapointing losing huh Gavin?

Gavin: No actually I came here to lose. I have too much money and would like to give some away.

Geez did Shana ask such retarded questions?

These blind levels suck. They are totally ridiculous.
