I don't need much to be satisfied. 2 odd million would virtually insure never needing to work again with how I play right now and would play in the future. The "extra" 2-3 million would have no real benefit to me. Imagine going to McDonalds and getting your combo super sized, what if you could get it super-super-sized for half as much, and then again for half that. Eventually it doesn't matter to you, but if you had a good amount of cash you could keep doing it and feed quite a few hungry people. Well 2.x million would be around the 2nd supersize for me.

Sweet fukcing jesus.

The Diceman things you people are all insane. Tipping a $100 bill after winning $7.5 mill is simply insulting.

I have tipped my fukcing hairdresser $100 before!! Poker is becoming infested with egotistical, CHEAPASS, immature punks like yourselves!

Now, before you flame the Diceman, I understand that money was witheld for the staff, so a large tip may not be necessary. But $100 is just stupid. This situation calls for a grand, MINIMUM! That would at least say, hey, I know you have been compensated, but I just won 7.5mil and want to show my gratitude for conducting this opportunity for me. Fukcing jokesters.

And to you pencil dicks who keep saying that a monkey could deal poker, refer back to my earlier description of the "new breed" of poker players. Fukcing fools. You wouldn't last 10 minutes in the box.

Clueless, classless dumbasses.

Dice out!

Don't they take 3 percent from the prize pool? That means he's already tipped far more than is necessary.

Very disappointing to hear this opinion from you Mason.

Ok, they took a percentage of the prize pool for the dealing staff. This is NOT coming out of his $7.5 million, which means technically HE has tipped nothing.

He should have either -

a) tipped an amount appropriate to winning $7.5 million dollars
or
b) tipped nothing at all

With the number of dealers that this is to be split with, I am sure that they will be very pleased with the additional $.80 apeice coming from the world champ.

I guess I'm the only one, but if I won $7.5 million, anyone and everyone around me would be having one hell of a party, ON ME. That would include bottles of Dom, cigars, and lots of tokes for the dealers, floor, and wait staff. But I guess that makes me an idiot.

On a side note, this is nothing more than a rumor as far as I know, so if the real story is diffrent I would extend an apology to the new champ.

Otherwise, yes, a chump.

The $7.5 million number was determined after money was removed for the staff. If the money was not removed, the 1st place prize may have been higher.

And no, you are not the only one who would be generous with your winnings, but some people make their living at these things. The tips add up.
