The new poker room at Harrah's St. Louis just opened Monday. Anyone check it out yet?

Going this weekend.
Heard its right where the old Players Island cardroom was located ---- until it was closed right before the poker boom. |

The new poker room is absolutely beautiful! If you're familiar with the layout of the place, it's located right behind the new IBar. 21 tables, big enclosed room...it's simply awesome. And they're willing to spread pretty much any game that 10 people want to play. For example, on tuesday, they had a 7 card wishlist going, it never got running but had there been enough people it would have. and on wed. they had a 20/40 game running as well as a 5/10 NL game.
Overall, I prefer Ameristar b/c I think it's a nicer casino but I'd be lying if I didn't say that the Harrah's new poker room won't be tempting to make me chose them to play instead. |

Good news. I've only been to Ameristar a few times but I will most certainly check out Harrah's now. If they have a 20/40 game running often that would rule.

I'm going to be in St Louis on Monday night, was planning to stay downtown. Can anyone offer thoughts on the President Casino poker room vs. Harrah's?
