Kinda weird situation...

Ok, so this girl i consider a friend asked me if i wanted to go to a "pinning" with her, which is basically some celebration for her soriety in RI at some hotel where everyone get's shitfaced. The catch is that she is kind of going out with my friend, who is of course going as well.

Technically, they are allowed to bring 2 dates, but obvously no one every does because thats weird. A lot of my friends are going, so it would be a good time. I don't really think she views me other than a friend, although sometimes i catch some weird signals because she does stuff like tell me how he a "one minute man" or "you're so much cooler than him" etc... along with the fact that sometimes she gets kinda flirty and sits on my lap, slaps my ass etc...

If i knew she had other feelings, i would just say no. However i would like to go, it should be an awesome time. This guy is one of my better friends at school, and we have tons of mutual friends. If i ask him if he is cool with it, he will probably say he doesn't care whether he does or not. If my GF asked another dude to come too, i think it would bother me.

Should i just refuse the invite?

If your friends with the chick and the guy and she invites and hes cool and also going I say no harm no foul. The only thing is she should/ should of asked him first like "Can XYZ come too" and then had him ask you.

golden rule! kinda hard to tell if she has malicious intentions, ive seen these things turn out to be nothing or turn out to be the end of friendships. i'd take the safe line, and fold.

No, my buddy is going. She is allowed to bring two dates and wants to execise that option. My initial rsponse was "No, that would be cock-blockish, he wouldnt get laid".

Thats when she said some of the stuff i metnioned in the OP, and said that they wer sharing a room with 2 other people who are going (who are also 2 of my very good friends). That changed the situation a bit since they wouldn't be having privacy anyway, and we are all friends. The other 2 people are not a couple FWIW.
