Did Mike M made a mistake with the Kings? (WSOP spoiler)
I wondered about this when it happened. I don't know how much the raise from the ex-magician with the Aces was, but Mike M was second or 3rd in chips. Couldn't he have put in a healthy reraise preflop and then seen how they reacted, rather than pushed all-in?
I'm not saying he could have definately gotten off of the Kings, but he might have had a shot depending on the stack sizes. Another thought- I'm assuming Mike was trying to isolate the Aces, or put both of them to the test with the hand. If he had limped, then moved in on the flopped set, any chance he would have won that hand? Just an early thought

I don't know if what they showed when Lazar looked at his cards was from that actual hand or not, but how he double checked it and frowned multiple times when looking was pretty fishy. Matusow also was playing way too aggressively for the beginning of a final table

Even if he hadn't pushed pre-flop, he would have hit his set on the flop, and all of the money would have gone in the middle anyway. Absolutely no way there is any end result other than what happened.

[/ QUOTE ] I'm inclined to agree with you, since I don't see Lazar getting away from the Aces on the flop (I'd have expected him to push, unless the flop was more coordinated than I remember)

[/ QUOTE ] I know you're being sarcastic, but there were several times during the show that certain typical tells (challenging stares, looking away from the board, etc) occurred. They sure screamed "his hand is obvious" to me and I wondered what they looked like in the real world, rather than on television. I assume that they wouldn't be as obvious as they were on camera.
