Default Biggest A-Holes in Cinema

In another thread, this came up, and I'm interested in what people think. It might become the basis for a poll, it might not - we'll see if there's any one overwhelming character (and see if a poll would be pointless)

Here's some contenders to start us off:

Carter Burke (Aliens) -the slimy company guy
The Town Sheriff (First Blood)
Sgt Bob Barnes (Platoon) - the 'bad' sergeant
The Kurgan (Highlander)
Wicked Witch of the West (Wizard of Oz)
Gary Oldman in Leon/The Professional

PS. I meant film characters, not specific actors

I didn't even know Kent had a last name. Did you have to look that up?

Paul Newman's character in Hud is a real jerk.
Alan Rickman as Sheriff of Nottingham in "Robin Hood-Prince of Dweebs." Also was the only good thing about the movie.
Chris Sarandon in Princess Bride.

I'd actually nominate Dr. Jerry Hathaway from the same movie. William Atherton also played the guy on the airplane in Die Hard...and he should also be recognized as a grade-A a-hole.

Also, whatever character Billy Zabka played in "Back To School", and Martin Kove in "Karate Kid".

And Walter Peck, the EPA guy who wanted to shut down the Ghostbusters. Did Atherton ever play a decent guy?
