Default Tropicana (AC)

So I've been to AC more than a dozen times, but I've never been to the Trop. In fact, I feel pretty loyal to the Borg but on Saturday I'll be cheating on my shiny gold home. What can I expect to find at the Trop from say, 11 AM until 10 PM?

No wait, small games, good SSNL + SSLHE action, decent higher stakes action, lots of old nits, money pink chips.

After 9PM--Lots and Lots of drunk tourists and few pros.

Very soft games at the lower limits. Mostly competent and friendly dealers. Cocktail service not always great, but mostly okay.

Good action in the $1/2 NL, $7.50/15 "pink chip", & $5/10 stud. Floorperson told me that the $4/8 LHE used to be great, but all the fish are in the $1/2 NL game now.

The Trop is no doubt the best house in town for low-limit action, i.e. 1-2 NL and limit games under 10-20. Wait lists are very manageable, the sea is full of fish, and the floor staff is very competent. I sometimes miss my days there, but alas have moved up in limits.

And if you're in to low-stakes limit poker, ya gotta try the Pink Chip game. It's donkalicious.

The donk factor:stakes ratio is very good in the pink chip game.

i'd agree the pink chip is full of regular tight nits that are easily identifiable and idiots, the 4/8 is also remarkably as bad as the 2/4 anywhere. trops great for l-lhe. a/

I played $5/10 7CS on a weekday around the holidays. I bought in for $200, cashed out around $500.
Lots of asian ladies from NYC gambooling. The rocks were all playing $1/5 7CS & $2/4 HE.
