I think a value bet is good here, I very seriously doubt he's attempting a c/r with a flush (even most LP's won't pass up their last opportunity to get some money in with a flush here) and you have him pretty well beat otherwise. I wouldn't go ape [censored] but maybe make it 2 or 2.50.

Am I wrong for folding pocket 4s here out of position to an EP raise with 4 ppl left to act?

[/ QUOTE ] Unless you have reason to believe that one of the two shortstacks back there is going to push- i.e. they shortstack push a lot- I can't see folding this. Bad position and bad relative position don't matter as much with a set, and you'll be dumping without one. |

I'd make a small valuebet on the river.
I would call preflop here aswell, let people get good odds to see a cheap flop. |

I meant OOP in respect to people coming in behind you. Let's assume you are MP. Are you guys always calling in 6MAX with low PPs? If you get alot of fight back from anyone else (either the UTG raiser or someone coming in behind you) how do you know you aren't out trip'd when you have to shove your stack or are you just playing the odds that aren't long-term? |

[/ QUOTE ] I'm not sure I understand what you're saying but I raise pocket pairs if it's an unraised pot, call if the raise isn't too big to ruin my implied odds or fold if the initial raise is too big to give me the implied odds I need. This goes for any seat at the table. |

Nicely sized flop raise, me likes. I would lead turn for ~4, I think villain is stacking off with AA/KK and a flush isn't very likely unless he has something like KQ[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (he raised preflop and the A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] is on the board).
Rolltide, calling pf is just fine. |
