I recall a while back a bunch of guys in SSHE did an All-Day Hold'em Obsessive Challenge (I think) which basically was playing multiple tables for 24 hours non-stop and seeing who won the most. My girlfriend is going to be out of town this coming weekend and I don't have a lot of schoolwork to do, so I figured this might be a good time to try it.
If enough people are interested in doing this, we could make an official thread outlining the rules of the challenge, post our PT stats/graphs at the end and make fun of whoever lost the most. Aside from the fun/challenge aspect of it I think doing something like this would also be good practice at staying focused/avoiding tilt/etc. So, what say you, SSNL? |

24 hours is a lot. But I'd probably still do it.
What level? I vote for 50NL. |

Whatever level you usually play. Results would be measured in PTBB's.

What are these "wives" you guys speak of?
(Just kidding, sort of - there's no way I'd be doing this either if my girlfriend weren't going skiing all weekend) |

Would love to do this but my GF would most likely shoot me and I dont even know if I could concentrate that long.
Last year when my GF was working an overnight and I told her I would try and stay up to wait for her I did a mini ADHOC. Basically if I wasnt playing poker I would have passed out but this gave me an excuse to play. I think I played for 10 hours straight from 9PM-7am and watched 3 DVDs in that time. 24 hours of straight poker would be very tough. |
