4th level - 200/400 50 ante. I have 15k, villain in the hand has 80k. Starting pot 1100. Villain didn't totally donk his way to the big stack and has generally been tight, and I haven't witnessed him doing anything out of line.
Folds to me on the button, I make it 1200 with KQs. SB folds, villain raises to 5200 from the BB. I have 14k behind. Thoughts? Edited to fix starting pot size. |

[/ QUOTE ] That combined with the size of the reraise would cause me to fold. If he made it 3800 or something I would consider pushing. But it sounds like he's not super creative and so I would tend to take that raise for what it was: one where he wants you to be sure he is committed to the hand. |

I agree here. My thought process would be what can I be beating that can make that play. King Jack?, doesn't make it, unless he blew a gasket. With the size of your stack relative to the blinds and antes, (m = 14,15 ish i think)i am waiting until later or until i get info that says this could be a play.

from a seemingly tight player, unless id see him bully with the big stack (ie 3 bet a reasonable amount preflop) im dumping this with your stack.
also, if you think he pushes all of his Ax and some Kx hands (ie his range is that wide) youll have enough overlay to flip or take a 60/40 with dead money but again otherwise no |

I probably fold to that big raise, agree with earlier poster who said push over smaller raise is possible. If he's using big stack to steal and be aggressive you might consider a push here, since he's playing tight a fold seems right.
