My Own Real Life Ghost Experience

I am currently 23 years old. This event that I am about to share took place when I was about 5 or 6 years old. While sleeping over at my grandparent's house, I was awoken in the middle of the night by my bed being shaken violently in addition to simultaneously feeling something of a presence. I ran into my grandmother's room (my grandparents slept in separate bedrooms) and immediately woke her up by telling her what had happened. She calmed me down and I went to sleep in her bed... The next day, she explained to me that what had happened to me had also happened to a cousin of mine (in the same bedroom) and had also happened to my aunt (my mom's sister). It was originally my aunt's bedroom and apparently she was so freaked out one night that she ran out her window - down the street half-naked. I was never told of these occurrences prior to my experience because they did not want to scare me out of sleeping over. These things have been verified by my mother (though it never happened to her), my grandmother and my aunt.
If I never experienced this I would not believe in ghosts (I don't believe in God, angels etc.) Do any of you have any similar experiences?

If you think of ghosts as some form of residual energy manifestation, its easy to disassociate "ghosts" with "the afterlife".
