This may be my last week watching this. Can we have more commercial breaks? Here in Canada there were at least 4 in the first half-hour.
"Doyle flops the wheel...Naseri has Aces...what will happen?" "Do you have erectile dysfunction? Is your nickname at the gym 'droopy'?..." Frickin' killing me. |

They need to turn up the pros mics and turn off AJs.
Todd Brunson will be interesting to watch next week. |

[ QUOTE ]
They need to turn up the pros mics and turn off AJs. [/ QUOTE ] I agree - I enjoyed listening to the players talk about the game and a little trash talking, but AJ kept blabbering on over them to the point you couldn't understand what was being said at the table. That being said, this is the best poker on TV. |

I agree about the commercials, it almost makes it unwatchable. At least finish the hand before cutting to commercial. The people watching this show aren't changing the channel.
I'll probably just start DVR'ing it instead of watching it live so I can skip past the commercials. |

Yeah, TF is flat pimp.
The announcer dude is pretty much a crotch though. Mr. Kotter has some good insight now and then but he's getting old pretty quickly too. In tonight's episode Doyle and Ted were playing a pot and Doyle bluffed on the end and was called. I thought he then said "Good call. I know I shouldn't bluff against Ted", or something to that effect. But the announcers claimed he said "I know I shouldn't bluff agains an idiot", and then Kotter went on for a while about how these guys were great friends and the "idiot" comment was all in good fun. |

I think this is the best live poker I've ever seen on TV. I'm sick of nothing-but-all-in hands from tournament play, plus most of the amateur donkeys that luckbox into final tables. Almost everyone here is a brilliant, brilliant poker mind and I like seeing how they think. Since I DVR it, I don't notice the commercials. I just see lots of fascinating hands and learn a ton about strategy for NL cash games. What's not to like?
