As an admitted n00b to the world of drinking (liquor, specifically) as well as a college student, I have tasted some of the worst crap made.
I'm tired of [censored] $10 plastic-jug vodka and I don't know much about liquor, but I don't mind rum&cokes, and the most recent liquor I tried was 99 Black Berries--which I didn't mind, either. So OOT, what liquors would you recommend to an up-and-coming-hopeful drink connoisseur? Not looking for cheap stuff, not looking for beer, and probably not looking for sophisticated stuff that old guys drink (aka gin and/or whiskey). Thanks in advance |

Gin and tonics are absolutely tasty and get you [censored] up quick. Try one with a little lime.
